I am always looking for ways to add character to our 90's home and love a good DIY project, so the Eagle Republic Acoustic paneling was the perfect choice for our latest home update project! The linear design of the paneling works for so many interior styles from retro through to modern. For our home, it was the perfect way to inject interest and warmth to the space with the beautiful timber slats set against the contrasting black felt.
After measuring and cutting the boards, installing them was very easy! We’ve installed various types of wall paneling over the years and this design has by far been the easiest to work with. As our home is double brick, we drilled into the wall and inserted wall plugs and then screwed through the panels, into the plugs to secure them to the wall. Each board meets up seamlessly with the next which makes installation even easier with no need to fill any joints.
We couldn’t be happier with the final look – it’s finished the room perfectly and is sure to draw plenty of attention from visitors when they now enter our home. I’m currently looking around other rooms in our house to see where else I could install them as I love them that much!
